Since 1974 we have taken pride in being leaders in the self storage industry. Now Golden State Storage is going green! And we are making it easy for you to go green too!
Golden State Storage is partnering with GreenSpot DropOff to provide electronic waste recycling (e-waste recycling) stations at five of our convenient Golden State Storage locations - FREE of charge! E-waste is a growing environmental problem. Cell phones, ink toner cartridges, computer monitors, television sets are just some of the items we keep out of landfills by recycling their parts.
Sustainability starts with self storage! Self storage may be the easiest way for you to go green and help the environment! By placing items in storage for future use (think of seasonal items like patio chairs and umbrellas) you keep items out of the landfill because you don't discard them, and you also remove the need to re-purchase these same items when you need them again, saving money and packaging! Now, with e-waste recycling, Golden State Storage and GreenSpot DropOff are leading the next wave of sustainability.
Golden State Storage understands that making a difference is easier when we all work together!
