Golden State Storage’s COVID-19 Response

Access to your unit is still available, but our store offices are closed.

While on-site, please keep a minimum of 6 six feet away from other customers.

Storage is an essential service for some of our customers. We understand that some of our customer’s consider storage to be an essential service. Some of you use your storage space to hold important items that you may need at any time or keep items that are important for your essential business. We are trying to do all we can to keep our facilities open and operating for you.

Safety of our customers and our team remain our top priority. While keeping our facility operating for our customers, most of our offices will be staffed but closed to the public. Most of our facilities will still have a manager on-site, but in respect to social distancing, we will be providing a touchless experience. For the next few weeks, we will not be accepting payments in our office.

Making Payments

Please make payments for your unit online by visiting our website at:

If you need to pay by cash, please place the cash in an envelope and place it in our dropbox or push it through the mailbox slot in our door. We can email a receipt to you if you include your email address.

If you need to speak to a manager, instead of knocking on our office door, please call them on the number you have, the number posted on this website or the number posted on our office door.

Rent Online

To rent a unit, you can do so online on our website

To complete the process and receive a gate code, one of our managers will reach out to you by phone or email for the final required information and provide you a gate code and directions to your unit. This touchless experience is a new process for us, so your patience is sincerely appreciated.

Limited Office Hours

Some of our staff have requested to stay home during this emergency. Also, our team needs extra time to clean the facility. Thus, we may have limited office hours. Restrooms may be closed at certain locations.

While On-Site

While on-site, please keep a minimum of six feet apart from anyone else and please wash your hands thoroughly before and after visiting our facility. Many of our bathrooms may also be closed. We strive to keep our gate keypads, doors and facility clean, but as disinfecting supplies are difficult to obtain right now, please make sure to clean your hands as often as possible.

Local and national governments have yet to be clear on if they intend to let storage companies like us continue to operate. We will keep this page updated with the latest information about our locations.

In order to stop the spread of the virus, if you become ill or have been in contact with someone who is, we request that you do not visit our facilities.

Thank you for your patience and business,

Our team at Golden State Storage
